Doug Clemons was born on February 14, 1975 in Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin where he earned a B.S. in Psychology in 1998. Doug then attended law school at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. Doug was member of the Moot Court and Mock Trial teams as well as a member of South Texas Law Review. Doug obtained his J.D. in 2001. Once licensed to practice law in 2001, he worked for Eggleston & Briscoe, P.C. where practiced in areas of third and first party insurance defense including being Texas flood trial counsel for all carriers participating in the National Flood Insurance Program. After 5 years with Eggleston & Briscoe, Doug went to work for the Maxtel Group of Companies as in house counsel where he managed all litigation and regulatory compliance. After several years with Maxtel, Doug went to work for Manfred Sternberg & Associates, P.C. where he concentrated on complex commercial cases and judgment enforcement. In 2013, Doug and his family moved to Boerne, Texas and Doug went to work for Richie & Gueringer, P.C. in San Antonio, Texas representing large and small businesses in commercial and breach of contract disputes. Doug joined the firm of Allan, Nava, Glander & Holland, PLLC as an associate in 2015.
For the past 15 years, Doug’s practice has focused on commercial litigation. Doug has first and second chaired numerous trials throughout the State of Texas. He is licensed to practice law in Texas State Courts, the Southern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Doug is also a certified advanced firefighter and instructor by the State of Texas and was a firefighter and emergency medical technician for Community Fire Department, the Houston Fire Department, Willowfork Fire Department and Southside Place Fire Department in which he logged over 10,000 emergency runs over a 17 year career. Doug retired from the fire service in 2013 as a Lieutenant after 17 years of service.
Doug is married to his wife, Leah, and they have one son, Jackson.
